About Dancing in the Rain
Dancing in the Rain is a social enterprise that was created to support parents and carers of children with additional needs who are seeking a happier, more positive, mindful life.
Life can hold many challenges which can be even more apparent when you are the parent or carer of children with additional needs. Your well-being is vitally important to deal with whatever is thrown at us. Self-care often takes a backseat but in order to be the best carer for your children making sure that your cup is full should be important.
I found in my own on-going journey that the biggest difference to mine and my children’s lives was a change in my mindset. I am striving to create a happier life for my family and I hope we can travel this path together.
About the founder.
Hazel lives in North East England and is the proud mum to twin boys.
As founder of Dancing in the Rain, she aims to inspire and empower parent carers to live a happier, positive, mindful life through accessible resources.
Hazel found as a mum and carer to her boys who have additional needs that she struggled to see the good things in life and she had lost track of her own well-being.
She uses mindfulness and meditation daily and makes time for self-care to live a fuller, happier life.
Hazel enjoys spending time in her garden, exploring the beautiful countryside, photography and writing.
